Here is a picture of me on a recent
trip to Texas. I was researching the
fourth Ted Mitchell novel and spent
some time on a 6,000 acre cattle
ranch south of San Antonio. I
am in a hunter’s lair on that cattle
ranch. The stuffed bunny is a
continuing joke among cronies from
graduate school days and not
indicative of the hunt. Down there
they go after wild boar!
Here are Bonaparte (on the left),
and Pepper (on the right). Sadly, we
had to say goodbye to Pepper this
summer. It was very hard.
Here I am at a recent (never mind
how many years it’s been) High
School reunion. Turns out there are
several other novelists in my high
school class.
Here is a picture of me and our
newest pup, Mocha, who we adopted up
from Louisiana.
Here are all three dogs on the day
Mocha joined the family.
